SVG is a vector format: it describes shapes with maths instead of pixels, so logos and icons stay sharp at any size. Many places still need a normal bitmap image, including social profiles, office documents, email signatures and app stores. This converter draws your SVG in the browser and saves it as a PNG with the transparent background intact.
Need a bigger PNG? Increase the width and height attributes in the SVG before converting, and the PNG will be drawn at that size. Keep the SVG itself as your master file for future edits.
The PNG uses the SVG's width and height, or its viewBox if no size is set. Files with neither are drawn at 800 by 600 pixels.
Areas the SVG leaves empty stay transparent in the PNG, so a logo sits cleanly on any colour.
Very large drawings are scaled down so the longest side is at most 4096 pixels, which keeps the conversion stable in every browser.
Convert a set of icons in one go and download them together as a ZIP file.
PNG is the safe way to use SVG artwork in places that do not accept vector files.
Social networks and chat apps want PNG or JPG for avatars and headers, not SVG.

We use SVG width and height when present, otherwise the viewBox aspect ratio. Very large artwork is scaled down so the longest edge is at most 4096 px.
Some browsers block remote references when rasterizing SVG from a blob URL. Self-contained SVGs work best.
No. Rasterization runs locally in your browser.
Set larger width and height attributes in the SVG, or remove them and give it a larger viewBox, then convert again. The PNG is drawn at the SVG's own size, up to 4096 pixels on the longest side.
Yes. Anything the SVG does not paint stays transparent in the PNG.
Web fonts linked from outside the SVG are not loaded, so text falls back to a system font. Convert text to outlines in your design app before exporting the SVG.
