What is an EXIF remover?
Photos carry hidden metadata called EXIF: the camera model, the date and often the exact GPS location where the picture was taken. Sharing such a photo can reveal your home, workplace or routine. An EXIF remover saves a clean copy of the picture with all of that information left out.

Removes GPS and camera info
Location, camera and lens details, timestamps and software tags are not written to the new file.

The image is redrawn and saved again. JPG and WebP files are saved at 92% quality, so a very slight change is possible.
Orientation is preserved
Rotation stored in EXIF is applied to the pixels, so photos still appear upright.
Color profile is dropped too
Embedded ICC color profiles are removed, so wide-gamut photos can look slightly different.
